What counts as a pricing change

A real entry should be added only when a primary source confirms one of the following:

  • input or output token price changed;
  • cached input, batch, fine-tuning, image, video, audio or tool-use pricing changed;
  • a model was added, retired, renamed or moved between access tiers;
  • a billing unit changed, such as tokens, seconds, images, requests, seats or credits;
  • free-tier, rate-limit or enterprise availability changed in a way that affects workflow cost.
